Carli Nistal is a music producer, bassist, sound engineer and DJ based in Santander, northern Spain. He runs his own recording and production studio in the heart of the city, where he works across music production, recording, mixing and sound design.
With an eclectic approach and a strong interest in experimentation, Carli has developed a wide range of projects throughout his career, working with emerging artists from the Spanish scene such as Enol and Manu Cort, as well as internationally recognised names from the world of hip-hop, including Steele (Smif-N-Wessun), Big Twins (Infamous Mobb), Sadat X, Tony Touch and Buckshot, among others.
His production style draws from hip-hop, Latin and African music, while incorporating elements of trap, reggaeton, pop and other contemporary genres. Rather than following a single formula, Carli approaches each project from its own musical identity, combining atmospheric textures, dark and dreamy elements, organic instrumentation and a strong sense of character.
His work is rooted in a balance between experimentation and musicality, always looking for new ways to bring personality, depth and emotion to a record.
